Introduction
Safe and equitable access to housing, transportation, daily and regular needs is essential for all residents. Small and rural communities, like the Pemberton Valley, are often challenged to provide access to these essential needs, and residents are often forced to travel outside their community.
The Complete Communities project evaluates the Pemberton Valley (view map for project boundaries) through four lenses: housing, transportation, infrastructure and daily needs, and aims to identify ways to improve residents’ ability to access daily and regular needs locally.
